摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass which has high light-transmissivity and is capable of shielding against electromagnetic waves in a board wavelength region and also to provide the production of the glass. SOLUTION: This glass 10 consists of a transparent glass plate 12 and a glass film 16. The glass film 16 is formed on the transparent glass plate 12 and contains pigment particles 20 which consist of alumina having an emissivity of about 0.85 and have an about 0.52μm average particle size, in an about 0.75 wt.% ratio of the pigment particles 20 in a glass structure 18, and therefore, is provided with a high emissivity corresponding to the emissivity of the pigment particles 20. Accordingly, the glass film 16 appropriately absorbs electromagnetic waves incident on it and appropriately emits electromagnetic waves, to reduce the intensity of magnetic waves passing through the glass 10. At this time, since the pigment particles 20 consist of alumina having such a high emissivity in a board wavelength region, the glass film 16 is capable of shielding against electromagnetic waves in a board wavelength region. On the other hand, since the average particle size of the pigment particles 20 is adjusted to a small size, i.e., about 0.54μm, the scattering of electromagnetic waves in the visible ray region is hardly caused and thus, high transmissivity of the glass film 16 and therefore, high transmissivity of the glass 10 can be obtained.
