PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial tooth production system and its method, by which an impression of teeth can be much accurately measured without making a patient suffer pain or load, and an artificial tooth can be produced in an extremely shorter period than ever before. SOLUTION: This system comprises a three-dimensional shape data getting means for getting the three-dimensional shape data of patient's teeth 11, a sending means for sending the three-dimensional shape data to remote places, and an artificial tooth production machine for producing an artificial tooth on the basis of the three-dimensional shape data sent, or a shape forming means for forming a shape for producing an artificial tooth. The measuring device gets the three-dimensional shape data of teeth, by emitting laser beam against the patient's teeth in the patient's mouth 10 to measure the reflected light. |
