PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously detect one output during exercise and in everyday life. SOLUTION: When a body movement eliminating part 11 eliminates a body movement component MHt from a pulse wave waveform MH to generate a pulse wave waveform MH' from which body movement has been eliminated, heart rate HR and ejection period ED are calculated accordingly. When a one- output calculating part 14 calculates one output SV according to the pulse wave waveform MH' from which the body movement has been eliminated during the ejection period ED, a rate-of-change calculating part 15 calculates the rate SV' of change in output that shows a change in one output SV with time. Thereafter, an evaluating part 16 compares the rate SV' of change in one output with a threshold matching the heartbeat rate HR and generates an evaluation index X, and a display part 17 displays the evaluation index X. |
