<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate key operation and enhance the operating easiness by actuating automatic communication by electric waves between vehicle and a card only with a push of a switch provided in the vehicle while the card is accommodated in a pocket, etc., and thereby turning on the power supply of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:To operate a vehicle, first an ON switch 2 provided on an operational switch panel 1 is pushed, and a signal transmitting/receiving circuit 19 in a control unit 16 gives an electric wave of the request signal having a certain frequency for a specified period of time. When a code transmitting device 18 in the form of a card possessed by the driver receives this signal, a specific code signal is given from this device 18 in a specified number of emissions. Upon receiving this code signal, a code identifying circuit 20 compares it with the set code, and if the two are identical, a power supply circuit for running 21 is turned on. In case the handle bar is in locked condition, pushing of a unlocking switch 5 will actuate a lock actuator 13 to disengage the lock of the handle bar.</p> |
