Procedure for starting single phase induction motor, especially of pump used in dish washing machines

A procedure has the motor excited so that it possesses a starting torque (C1) lying safely above the highest foreseeable counter-torque (CR) and the starting of the motor itself is attained. One maintains this excitation above a specified and shortest time period and consequently changes the supply of the motor so that a different torque is obtained with a dynamic acceleration curve that lies far below the first one. It is possible to continue the movement of the impeller of the pump with a reduced acceleration that is lower than that which can be attained with the original supply. Upon this, the mentioned second torque can be changed afterwards in order to select other motor speeds.
