Condenser for turbines

A support device prevents movements of the condenser (1) in relation to the anchoring point of the turbine as the result of earthquakes. The support device has draw bars (8), which are fixed to the hot well (5) and to the foundation blocks (7). The draw bars are fixed to the side wall of the hot well. The draw bars can also be fixed to the base of the hot well at a point located vertically under the anchoring point of the turbine. They can also be fixed by supports (9), which are welded to the hot well.
