摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a stage necessary for adhering an optical fiber array module and to reduce a process cost by positioning at least >=1 optical fibers for optical signal input and output to be adhered to an optical waveguide element. SOLUTION: The optical fiber array module in which input and output optical fiber arrays exist on the same plane substrate 100 has the structure that at least one optical fibers 110 for optical signal input and at least one optical fibers 120 for optical signal output which are adhered to the optical waveguide element and exist on the same plane substrate 100. The end face of the optical fiber array module adhered to the optical waveguide element preferably forms an angle of 0 to 10 deg. on a plane or section in order to reduce reflection loss. The plane substrate 100 for arraying the optical fiber array preferably includes grooves engraved for the purpose of arrangement of the optical fiber array. The distance S1 between the input end optical fiber and output end optical fiber in the extreme proximity is >=125μm.</p>
