The invention relates to a container for the storage of a granulate. The container is primarily intended for use in connection with the storage of seed grain at the supplier's, the transport of seed grain from the supplier to the field and possibly also for the sowing of seed grain from an agricultural machine. The container may also be used for artificial fertilisers, for fuel pellets, for plastic granulate or for other granulate. The container has a base and sides, between which an inner is formed. The container preferably constitutes a box with an opening. The box is provided along the edges with means so that the edges of one box with the base downward can be fixed to the edges of a second box with the base upwards. The two containers thereby form a closed box. One side of the container is preferably provided with an outlet, which is provided at the base of the container for discharging seed grain from the container. <IMAGE>
