COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AT THE TIME OF ADDRESS OVERLAP BETWEEN INTERNET AND INTERNET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a communication with opposite party so that a host expects even when there is an address overlap inside and outside an internet (a private IP network). SOLUTION: A database of a connection device between an intranet 102 and an internet 101 has the value of a network part of the address (the value other than that of a private address) overlapped with a public address out of IP addresses imparted to hosts 1 and 2 in the intranet 102. When a gate way router 5 receives data transmitted from the hosts 1 and 2 in the intranet 102, a routing to the very party that a transmitter expects is performed even at the time of address overlap by an IP address on a header, the value on the data base and an inquiring means to a transmitting host.
