PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appearance inspecting device capable of accurately inspecting the appearance of a photoreceptive drum, without decreasing inspection efficiency, regardless of the length of the drum, that is, from a drum length of <=50 cm, of course, to length of 125.5 cm, which is the current maximum length, in the appearance inspecting device for photoreceptive drum. SOLUTION: In the appearance inspecting device for an electrophotographic photoreceptive drum provided with a shaft 3, which is for holding an electrophotographic photoreceptive drum 1 and rotated to be substantially coaxial with the drum 1, a driving pipe 13 having a rotational function is installed to be substantially parallel with the shaft 3 at a proper interval. Then, the driving pipe is rotationally liked with the shaft, to be rotated, so that the photoreceptive drum is rotated. |
