PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter device that can reduce the capacitance of a capacitor for smoothing, being connected to the output end of a rectifying circuit for a control power supply and suppresses cost and size. SOLUTION: In a converter device 14 constituted of a rectifying circuit 2 for a main circuit power supply which is connected to an AC power supply, a main circuit power supply part consisting of a smoothing capacitor 5 for a main circuit power supply connected to the output of the rectifying circuit 2 for a main circuit power supply, and a control power supply part consisting of the rectifying circuit 2 for the main circuit power supply, a rectifying circuit for a control power supply which is connected to an independent AC power supply, a smoothing capacitor 9 for the control power supply connected to the output terminal of the rectifying circuit for the control power supply, and a control power supply generation circuit for creating a specific control power supply by a switching circuit or the like in accordance with the output, the positive side of the smoothing capacitor for the main circuit power supply in connected to the positive side of the smoothing capacitor for the control power supply via a first diode 12, and the negative side of the smoothing capacitor for the main circuit power supply is connected to the negative side of the smoothing capacitor 9 for the control power supply via a second diode 13. |
