PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception method and a receiver that is inexpensive and simple in structure, receives a high frequency signal and demodulates by a direct conversion. SOLUTION: A receiver is equipped with a power dividing means 14 for dividing a frequency signal to be inputted into at least two signals (S1 and S2 ), at least one delay means 15 and 16 for delaying the signals concerned (S1 and S2 ) so that relative delay time of the signal (S1 ) and the signal (S2 ) becomes a specified delay time, a calculating means for calculating at least three power levels (P1, P2, P3 and P4) on the basis of a combination of respectively delayed signal (S1 ) and the signal (S2 ), and a processing means for calculating a phase and an amplitude of complex signals which indicate a relation between respectively delayed signal (S1) and the signal (821 on the basis of at least three power levels. |
