PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boisensor which requires no connector of a special structure in a type in which a working electrode and a counter electrode are so arranged inside two base pates to build a facing structure. SOLUTION: In this biosensor, (1) lead parts 8 and 9 of electrodes which are formed inside a longer lower base plate 1 and a shorter upper base plate 2 made through an adhesive layer 7 and a spacer 7' are formed at a position on the lower base plate 1 where the end part thereof will not overlap the upper base plate 2. The electrode on the upper base plate 2 is conducted to the lead parts 8 and 9 piercing the adhesive layer 7 or the spacer 7'. In the biosensor, (2) the lead parts 8 and 9 of the electrodes formed respectively inside the longer upper base plate 2 and the shorter lower base plate 1 made through the adhesive layer 7 or the spacer 7' are formed on the surface side of the upper base plate 2 and the electrode provided on the upper base plate 2 is conducted to the lead parts 8 and 9 piercing the base plate while the electrode provided on the lower base plate 1 is conducted to the lead parts 8 and 9 provided on the upper base plate 2 piercing the adhesive layer 7 or the spacer 7'. |
