Dashboard assembly for motor vehicle

The dashboard comprises of two subassemblies designed to accept an intermediate layer in between them. They may be formed as a case and a cover (30) with an instrument arrangement located in between them. The two subassemblies have a click fastening system (50-53) that connects them. This has two levels of fastening to provide a closure between the two subassemblies whether the intermediate layer is present or not.
