The assembly, designed to be inserted in the lens capsule sac through a small incision, comprises an outer carrier (12) in the form of an incomplete ring, and one or more supported components to complete the ring and form a central structure (33) for a correcting lens. The supported components include a peripheral cleaning swab (27), while the outer carrier comprises outer (13) and inner (14) rings, connected by at least two bridges (15) which hold the outer ring to the rear of the inner one. The outer ring is designed to retain the circular shape of the sac, while being sufficiently malleable for easy insertion. |
