PROCESS FOR THE POLYMERISATION AND/OR COPOLYMERISATION OF VINYLCHLORIDE

A process for the polymerisation and/or copolymerisation of vinylchloride exhibiting a suppressed formation of so called fish eyes, which process is carried out at a temperature ranging from 5 to 85 DEG C utilising initiators, dispergators and/or emulgators and auxiliary agents, whilst the inner walls and blender are treated with vapor or aqueous solution with the content of at least one polymerization inhibitor or an antioxidant prior to setting said components into a reactor (autoclave), whilst the aqueous phase or vinylchloride or the mixture of monomers are added with at least one water-soluble strong reducer and/or at least one water-soluble and/or oil-soluble antioxidant in the amount ranging from 1 . 10exp(-5) to 1 . 10exp(-2) wt.%, relative to monomer(s). After addition of the remaining material and tempering, the polymerization and/or copolymerization is carried out until at least 70 % conversion is achieved and the suspension is processed by conventional methods.
