An electrophotographic printer for color copies has a four toner system with the toner stations on a rotating mounting about a horizontal axis (40). Each toner color is applied to the process roller (414) by one of four transfer rollers which supply toner from separate reservoirs. The toner in each reservoir is replenished from a toner container (e.g. 46K) by rotating the container and causing toner to drop into a screw feed (e.g. 49K) leading to the reservoir.
