A fish product is produced from frozen chip chopped fish with other ingredients. A frozen piece of tuna (2) is chopped into pieces (2A), then mixed (M) with mashed potatoes, wheat flour, vegetable protein, and/or salt and pepper, all at a temperature of -2.5 deg.C. The mixture is then minced (10) at -2.5 deg.C and shaped (12) into a block (13). The block can then be stored in a deep freeze (S). |
