The system to pull an overhead transmission line (15) into its overhead stretch, using a pull cable (14), has two connectors (11) in series. They are joined together by an electrically insulated intermediate section (18). The intermediate section is of plastics or porcelain, secured to the adjacent connectors at its ends (16), as a cable length.
