REHABILITATION PIPE SECTION, PIPE JOINT AND METHOD FOR REHABILATING AN UNDERGROUND PIPE

A rehabilitation pipe section, pipe joint and method for rehabilitating an underground pipe are described herein. The rehabilitation pipe section is provided with connectors allowing rehabilitation pipe sections placed end-to-end to be interconnected. A male connector may be inserted in a female connector and set screws are used to secure the joint. The use of set screws is advantageous since it enables the rehabilitation pipe sections to be pulled in existing underground pipes without excessive excavation. Two o-ring seals are provided between the male and female connectors to yield a watertight seal. A testing aperture is provided between the two o-ring seals to allow pressurized air to be injected therebetween to test the seal.
