PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high compressibility without damaging an image quality and also to drastically reduce data quantity by cutting partial images from an input image to synthesize plural partial images into a desired image and to display it, performing prescribed image coding of them, deciding a display order of the partial images and storing the coding data and display order data of the partial images. SOLUTION: An image is taken in by using a full color scanner 20 and is stored in an image database 32. As for an image data edit production operation, an editing system 33 fetches image data from the database 32 as necessary, shows it on a monitor 25 and performs various processing. Components of a produced image are undergone appropriate compression processing and are stored in the database 32 again. The system 33 produces a program for display which consists of positional data for arrangement of parts, data for image change processing, etc., and stores it together with image data of the components of the program for display in storage media. |
