PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate molding, to lower diffused resistance and to increase capacitance in a high current density by providing a phenol resin carbide, a self-combustive substance and a sinter shrinkage control substance. SOLUTION: After polyvinylidene chloride resin has been carbonized at 180 to 600 deg.C, is pulverized and carbonized powder of 22 μm or smaller in diameter is obtained. Then, the carbonized powder is dipped into a phenol resin aqueous solution in such a manner that phenol becomes 3.0 to 12.5 wt.% with respect to the carbonized powder when converted into solid component, the obtained material is mixed and then dried up. Then, the pulverized polyester resin of 0.5 to 30.0 wt.% is added to the dried carbonized powder, and after activated charcoal fiber of 0.5 to 20.0 wt.% has been added, mixed and pulverized, the material is put in a carbon mold. After the material has been molded under pressure, it is sintered at 600 to 950 deg.C in a sintering furnace, and an electrode 2 is obtained. |
