PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of appropriately and easily processing a paper sheet jamming. SOLUTION: This color image forming device 1 is made possible to remove the paper sheet 11 and the subsequent paper sheet 11 causing a jamming by opening the inlet vicinity of a fixing section, by transporting a paper sheet 11 fed from a paper feeding section 10 by a transfer belt 21, transferring toner on photoreceptor drums 31Y to 31K on the paper sheet 11 at transfer section 35y to 35K of the respective image forming sections 30Y, 30M, 30C and 30K, further transporting the paper sheet 11 that the toner is transferred thereon, detecting the paper sheet 11 fed from the paper feeding section 10 to the transfer belt structure section 20 by the fed paper detecting sensor 16, detecting the recorded paper sheet 11 discharged from the fixing section 50 by the discharge paper detecting sensor 53, deciding the occurrence of the jamming of the paper sheet 11 on route from the transfer belt 21 of the paper sheet 11 leading to the paper discharge based on the detecting result of the respective detecting sensor 16 and 53 by the control section, letting the subsequent paper sheet 11 transported in front of the fixing section 50, at the time of the jamming occurring in the paper sheet 11, when the paper feed detecting sensor 16 detects the feed of the subsequent paper sheet 11 to the transfer belt, and opening the inlet vicinity to the fixing section 50. |
