PLATE-SHAPED FLOW DIVIDER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure of a plate-shaped flow divider which enables formation of refrigerant paths so standardized as to be adapted to heat exchangers even in a different path array by a simple rearrangement of dies. SOLUTION: In a flat plate 3 having refrigerant paths 9 and 10 formed by corrugation respectively with a semicircular cross section, the liquid side refrigerant paths 9 extend radially from a branch plate 13 and are put together on a vertical axis at the final point thereof. The plurality of gas side refrigerant paths 10 are so arranged as to be put together on a vertical axis and to face the final point of the liquid side refrigerant paths 9. This enables realization of a structure that is so standardized in shape to be applicable to heat exchanges even in a different path array to allow change in type with only one unit thereby achieving a lower cost of dies.
