PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image defect such as irregular color, color slurring, a stripe, etc., from being caused by the fluctuation of the rotating speed of an image carrier by providing plural image carriers each with a frictional force holding means holding frictional force between the image carriers each and an endless belt at a part to be driven and brought into contact with the endless belt. SOLUTION: In a driving system 30 a main body part 1Y_1 (1M_1, 1C_1 and 1K_1 are not shown in the figure) carrying an electrostatic latent image, and the part to be driven 1Y_2 (1M_2, 1C_2 and 1K_2 are not shown in figure) formed at a part outside the main body part 1Y_1 and brought into contact with the endless belt 12 are formed in the image carriers 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K. Then, the frictional force holding means holding the frictional force by coating with rubber or forming ruggedness by sand blast or corrosion are adopted for the purpose of preventing slip on the frictional surfaces of the parts to be driven 1Y_2, 1M_2, ... of the image carriers 1Y, 1M, ... with the endless belt 12. |
