PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate mounting connector and a manufacturing method thereof provided with an external connection terminal penetrating a circuit board, capable of even if the external connection terminal is likely to be bent or fall down, facilitating mounting to the substrate and improving productivity. SOLUTION: This connector is inclusive of a connector main body 11 in which connector terminals 12 and 13 being a contact at one end, and an external connection terminal penetrating a circuit board at the other end is planted in a plurality of rows, and a bracket 31 positioning external connection terminals 12 and 13, and is composed of a first terminal alignment plate 311 provided with a slit capturing each external connection terminal in the rows when a bracket 31 is moved along a first row direction of an external connection terminal arrangement area, and a second terminal alignment plate 312 provided with a slit capturing each external connection terminal in the row when the bracket 31 is moved along a second row direction crossing the first direction. |
