PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium recording/reproducing method recording/reproducing even by either standards before/after renewal ever, when the standards in recording/reproducing such as a wavelength of laser light and a numerical aperture of an optical system are updated. SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing method of the optical recording medium is constituted so that, in recording/reproducing for the optical recording medium formed with lands and grooves and having a recording layer 2 by the laser light having a prescribed spot size, when the sum of a land width and a groove width is smaller than double of the spot size, a recording mark is formed on either one side between the land or the groove, and when the sum of the land width and the groove width is larger than double of the spot size, the recording mark is formed on both of the land and groove. |
