PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the reduction in the capacity of a capacitor at the time of electric power application under high temperature by forming a specified resin coated layer at the at least one surface of a plastic film within the specified thickness range and setting the heat-absorption starting temperature in the longitudinal direction of the film to be in the range of a specified temperature. SOLUTION: In a plastic film, the heat-absorption start temperature in the length direction (MD) is in a range of 60-150 deg.C, and the thickness of the film is set in a range of 1-50μm. Furthermore, the difference between MD of the plastic film and the heat-absorption start temperature of the width direction (TD) is to be less than 50 deg.C. In addition, in the resin forming the resin coated layer of a dielectric film for a capacitor, the glass transition point of the resin is set to a range of 0-90 deg.C, and the thickness of the resin coated layer is set to a range of 0.2-10μm. Then, the resin coated surface of the capacitor and the electrode metal are made to face opposite in the contact pattern, and the capacitor is formed through lamination or winding.
