<p>An integrated circuit (101) for driving liquid crystal is directly mounted on a liquid crystal substrate. The circuit (101) is provided with a plurality of power terminal groups (102, 103, 112, 113, 130, 131) including high-potential power input terminals (102, 112), low-potential power input terminals (103, 113), and intermediate-potential power input terminals (130, 131), and a plurality of signal input terminal groups (104-108) and (114-118). A generally rectangular integrated circuit piece (101) provided with the integrated circuit (101) is divided into two parts by a line (123) perpendicular to the long sides of the piece (101). The first electrode terminal group (102, 103, 130) and the first signal input terminal group (104-108) are provided along a short side of one of the parts of the piece (101). The second power terminal group (112, 113, 131) and second signal input group (114-118) are provided on a short side of the other part. The first power terminal group (102, 103, 130) and first signal input terminal group (104-108) are respectively connected to the second power terminal group (112, 113, 131) and second signal input terminal group (114-118) through the interconnection of the integrated circuit (101).</p> |
