Contact pin for fixing into circuit board holes

The contact pin has an elastically deformable press-in zone with a basically H-shaped cross-section with rounded outer corners on both H arms (14) which are connected by a bridge (16) and form contact zones near their ends for the circuit board holes. The bridge is thinner than the arms and curved with a convex side and a concave side. The distance between the contact zones (A,B) on the convex side is smaller than that between the contact zones (C,D) on the concave side.
