摘要 A device, for separating different frequency component light signals and having coupling waveguides terminating in free beam regions and waveguide phase gratings with graduated phase shift waveguide pairs terminating at each end in a free beam region, includes electrooptically active elements with voltage-dependent switching states or includes electrooptically active sections with voltage-dependent optical path lengths. A device, for separating light signals having different frequency components, has coupling waveguides, which terminate in one or more free beam regions, and one or more waveguide phase gratings with paired phase shift waveguides of graduated lengths, the inputs and outputs of which terminate in a free beam region. The novelty is that (i) an electrooptically active element is provided in at least one free beam region and is connected to a voltage-biased electrode arrangement for switching between states with different refractive indices depending on the applied voltages so that light signals incident on the electrooptically active element are transmitted in a first switching state and reflected in another switching state; or (ii) each phase shift waveguide (90, 92) of at least one waveguide phase grating (91, 93) has an electrooptically active section (100, 106) in contact with an electrode arrangement (101, 102, 106, 107) to which a voltage is applied for adjusting the optical path length of the individual electrooptically active sections (100, 106).
