PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mixed ink from flowing into a sub-tank. SOLUTION: A negative tube 17 provided with a negative pressure generating pump 25 is coupled with a joint 16. First and second coupling tubes 14, 15 coupled, respectively, with sub-tanks 11a, 11b are also coupled with the joint 16. The sub-tanks 11a, 11b are coupled, respectively, with main tanks 10a, 10b through a tank tube 13. The sub-tanks 11a, 11b are further coupled with a recording head 2 through a head tube 19. The joint 16 coupling the negative tube 17 with the first and second coupling tubes 14, 15 are located at a position lower than the sub-tanks 11a, 11b. |
