PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize light from a light source in an air purifier using photocatalyst for purifying contamination substance by receiving the irradiation of light including ultraviolet-rays. SOLUTION: A photocatalytic element 8 as a honeycomb photocatalaytic filter provided with phtocatalystic filter 41 as a sheet-shaped photocatalyst part and multiple ventilation holes 42 along a ventilation flow direction and a light source lamp 13 emitting light including the ultraviolet-rays are arranged along the ventilation flow direction in this order. Light from the light source lamp 13 is irradiated towards the photocatalytic element 8 and the photocatalytic filter 41 is irradiated with light penetrating the ventilation hole 42 of the photocatalytic element 8.
