<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge a fog generation accurately and control the automatic lighting of a fog lamp by radiating a laser beam to a frontside by a laser radar device, receiving a reflection light returned after reflecting to any target, measuring a distance upto the target and watching the car-to-car distance upto a front vehicle. SOLUTION: An auto-fog lamp device 1 receives a reflection light radiated a laser beam forward and reflected and returned to the rear part of a preceded car and calculates a distance from the time lag between a send out timing and a light receiving timing to the preceded car and detects the direction angle of the preceded car by the laser rader device 2 from the sent/received directions of a light signal. The auto-fog lamp device 1 judges the necessity of an approach warning for the preceded car based on the distance data of the laser radar device 2. A fog lamp 9 is turned on after receiving the lighting signal of the fog lamp from a calculation device 6. Thereby, the rush in a fog is detected accurately and the automatic lighting of the fog lamp can be controlled.</p> |
