The unit has a drive, a transmission and a force-transmitting drive mechanism. The latter cooperates with a fixed counter-member on the beam of the door. The drive unit is taken with the drive mechanism into the inside of the horizontal beam. The drive unit is fastened to a movable console (3) which is hinged to a fixed support (12). The console can be moved, adjusted and set independent of the door and its components. One or more positioning elements e.g. a position screw (4), a wheel, a lever, an eccentric member, a spring, a linear piston etc. are fixed to the console. These elements adjust the pressing force of the drive mechanism mechanically or via an electric or electronic control onto the surface or the counter-member of the door beam (1). The door is carried with its horizontal surfaces held by at least two spaced apart carrier and guide rollers (2) mounted on a fixed support. |
