PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily decode a pattern shape by adding a dot pattern expressing identifying information for specifying a device and its reference pattern together with additional information so as to be hardly recognized by means of human eyes to an input image, outputting them and fixing the number of dots without adding a parity check dot to the dot pattern. SOLUTION: EEPROM 901 previously stores additional information (meter ID, a function kind number and a function number, etc.) to be added to the image. Additional information is inputted to a ciphering circuit 905 when the power source of an image processor is turned-on and an image recording device to be automatically loaded to a register 902 inside the CPU 910 receives an instruction for printing a color image. Ciphered additional information is inputted to a parity check circuit 906 and a parity and a fixed bit are checked. A main scanning counter 907 transmits ON at a position where an inspection dot is added. |
