PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of performing stable stroboscopic photographing even when the aperture stop value of a photographing lens is obscure in the case of the attachment of an intermediate ring, etc. SOLUTION: This camera system is provided with a light control means stopping light emission when the emitted light quantity of regular light emission to a subject reaches a specified value, and a detecting means detecting the aperture stop value of the photographing lens; and the light control means has a first light control part (#9 to #16) deciding the emitted light quantity in the case of photographing based on a photometric value in the case of preliminary light emission obtained by the preliminary light emission before photographing and the photometric value obtained before the preliminary light emission, and a second light control part(#20 to #25) performing light control operation in accordance with the photometric value from an exposure surface in the case of photographing. In this case, this system has a stroboscopic control means (#7, 8a) performing light control operation at the second light control part when the detecting means can not detect the aperture stop value of the photographing lens and stroboscopic operation is selected. |
