PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an adjustment accuracy and to reduce an adjustment time by retaining a photodetector via an adjustment holder while the adjustment holder supports the photo detector in the light path direction of reflection light so that the position can be adjusted without affecting a direction that orthogonally crosses a light path direction. SOLUTION: A detector holder 58 fixes and supports a photodetector 23 on one surface by an adhesive or the like and is fixed to a slide base 20 via an adjustment holder 59 being sealed to the other surface via the adhesive or the like. The adjustment holder 59 consists of a cylindrical axis body where a through hole in the longer direction in that laser beams being reflected from a storage medium pass and is engaged to a mounting hole with a V-shaped section being formed at the slide base 20. A cover plate 60 consisting of a thin plate body presses the adjustment holder 59 to a V-shaped mounting hole with the clamping force of a set screw 78 and fixes it to the slide base 20. In the adjustment of the axial direction position of the photodetector 23, the set screw 78 is loosened and the adjustment holder 59 is moved in the longer direction of the cylinder axis body. |
