PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker effectively protecting a switching element. SOLUTION: This cooking device is provided with first control setting means 18 controlling a drive circuit 15 so that the output voltage of an inverter circuit 14 becomes a required value from a detected value by an input voltage detection means 16 and a detected value by an output voltage detection means 17. By providing second control setting means 20 controlling the drive circuit 15 by the detected value through an output detection means 17 unrelated to the value detected through the input voltage detection means 16 so as to control the on time of a switching element 14c through the two control setting means 18, 20, the rapid increase of a switching element 14c loss is suppressed at the fluctuation time of a commercial power source 11 voltage, and the switching element 14c is protected so that both end voltage thereof does not exceed its withstand voltage. |
