PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update a home page by acquiring information on an internet, based on area information determining the range of facsimile data, preparing and storing that acquired information as data on the internet. SOLUTION: An information transmitter 4 for providing information on an internet 2 transmits contents described on a transmission paper sheet to a facsimile modem 30 of an information server device 3, while using a facsimile 40. The information server device 3 receives facsimile data, reads these data, dispatches them to an extracting means 32 and extracts various kinds of information required for providing information on the internet 2. That extracted information is moved to the transforming part of a preparing means 33 and transformed to data in a format capable of being provided on the internet 2, and image data in the format capable of being provided are prepared on the internet 2 and outputted and stored in an image file. |
