<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a target tracking system which can sustain accurate tracking even when an undesired signal or a target other than an objective target exists in the vicinity of a target predicting position or when the observation accuracy is low. SOLUTION: An attribute data correlation features calculator 4 calculates the probability distribution of attribute data from a target to be tracked based on the reliability thereof and the attribute information of an observation data. An attribute data correlator 7 selects an observation data possibly correlated with the target using the probability distribution of attribute data from the target. A reliability calculator 9 receiving a motion data and an attribute data calculates the reliability of observation data selected by the attribute data correlator 7 based on the probability distribution of motion features and attribute data from the target along with the reliability of a plurality of motion models. An attribute data reliability calculator 5 calculates the reliability of attribute data of the target based on the attribute data and the reliability calculated by the reliability calculator 9 based on the motion data and attribute data.</p> |
