Flexible support with spindle in casing

The flexible support has a spindle (1) coupled to the casing by branches of a flexible material. Before installing, a pre-stress is created by a compression being exerted between the spindle coating (4) and padding (11) integral with mounting (12). The compression is created by a rigid insert (15) between the spindle coating and padding. The insert partly integrates the mounting threaded on the spindle. The mounting comprises a sheet metal rider (14).
