PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by introducing a coordinate system easy to understand on a user side, in a printer. SOLUTION: A control panel 16 is provided with a direction input part 32 for inputting the direction of an original image in the set state of an original. Parameters such as vertical and horizontal directions are inputted by a parameter input part 34 based on the direction of the original image. An image processing part 12 executes rotational processing and processing for the movement of an image, etc., based on the parameters inputted on the basis of the direction of the original image. The parameter input part 34 is used for designating a finishing position in a finishing device 42 as well. A user can easily recognize the coordinate system, because the direction of the original image is used as the reference, so that a mistake in the input of the parameters can be prevented. |
