PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective radio call receiver by which a telephone number is accurately and quickly registered by excluding mis-input and troublesome entry. SOLUTION: This receiver includes an antenna 1, a radio section 2, a control section 3, a speaker 4, a vibrator VIB 5 and an LCD 6 as basic circuits. A dual tone multi-frequency DTMF handset 11 receives a telephone number by a voice signal or an acoustic DTMF signal. A voice-DTMF identification circuit 12, a voice-numeral matching circuit 13, a DTMF circuit 16 and the control section 3 convert the voice signal or the acoustic DTMF signal into numerical data, which are stored in a RAM 15. In the case of sending a telephone number from the DTMF handset in terms of the acoustic DTMF signal, the numeral data are read from the RAM 15 and the DTMF circuit 16 converts the numeral data into a DTMF signal. |
