摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery excellent in a cycle characteristic by mixing lithium hydroxide and a manganese compound selected from manganese dioxide and a manganese carbonate, performing primary baking and cooling at specific temperatures, performing secondary baking at a specific temperature after cracking, and performing baking at a specific temperature by adding and uniformly mixing the manganese dioxide and/or the manganese carbonate. SOLUTION: Primary baking is performed at 350 to 500 deg.C, and cooling is performed at 100 deg.C or less, and secondary baking is performed at 600 to 800 deg.C, and baking after being uniformly mixed is performing at 600 to 800 deg.C. It is desirable to use a lithium manganese compound oxide as a positive electrode. It is suitable to be, for example, marketing monohydrate salt shown by LiOH.H2 O and a granular material having the average particle size of 20 to 100 μm as lithium hydroxide. Manganese dioxide or a manganese carbonate is used as a manganese compound, and a granular material having the average particle size of 20 to 100 μm is suitable. A material obtained by chemical synthesis and electrolysis can be used as the manganese dioxide. A secondary battery having excellent initial capacity and capacity retention is obtained.
