PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus detector capable of accurately measuring the temperature of an image reforming lens block by a temperature sensor, and also capable of efficiently arranging the temperature sensor in a focus detecting unit. SOLUTION: The focus detector is provided with the image reforming lens block 11 for separating a primary object image obtained by an objective lens and where a lens part with at least a pair of lenses assembled is formed into one body, a substrate 16 equipped with a wall part on which the mount surface for the lens block 11 is formed, and a photoelectric conversion element 13 which is attached to the substrate 16 and on which the secondary object image by the lens block 11 is projected. In this case, a temperature detecting means is installed on the substrate 16 so as to be placed opposite to the lens block 11 across the wall part of the substrate 16. |
