PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system that is easily handled. SOLUTION: This telephone system provided with a main body MU making communication with other telephone system and with a speech unit SU provided with a microphone 16 and a loudspeaker 12 to send/receive a voice signal to/ from the main body MU through radio communication, is provided with a speech command switch 10a to instruct start of a speech with respect to the main body MU, and the main body MU is provided with a telephone number entry key board 5c for entering a number accompanying a command received from the speech command switch 10a.
