PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator which can restrain lowering of detection sensitivity of rotational motion which is caused by noise of linear acceleration generated by deviation of center of gravity, suppress effectively spurious vibration generated in a driving vibration part, and improve output sensitivity. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibrator 1 is constituted by arranging a pair of driving vibration branches 3, 4 on one facing side surface, arranging a pair of detecting vibration branches 5, 6 on the other facing side surface, and arranging a holding branch 7 which bridges a pair of the detecting vibration branches 5, 6 and rectangularly intersects the stretching direction of the detection vibration branches 5, 6. In this case, the holding branch 7 is arranged at a position turning to the node part of specified vibration of the detection side vibration branches 5, 6, and both end portions of a rectangular combination base part 2 are made to protrude outside the detecting vibration branches 5, 6, in order to position the center of gravity of the piezoelectric vibrator 1 at the center of the holding branch 7. |
