It has a function of moisturizing skin, a function of making skin a comfortable silky smooth feel, a function of accelerating wound healing, a function of skin cleansing, a function of peeling stratum corneum, a function of treating keratoses, a function of improving tissue cell metabolism, a function of promoting cell turnover, and a function of enhancing the quality of skin or scalps cells, etc. It can be formulated with cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable ingredients into varied products to satisfy some cosmetic or pharmaceutical needs. The present invention also describes a method of preparing the extract of animal pancreas.
