Crash helmet with dimensionally stable shell, and holder

The helmet's shell (2, 3) covers at least the top of the wearer's head (K) to which it is attached by a holder which has at least one contact part (7, 8) resting on the head, and adjustments for different head sizes. At least one contact part is supported on a shell-part by a mechanically operating support (12). The contact parts are displaced by guide levers movable by means of manually operated adjustments (9) and fixed in position by fastenings (10).
